SPIRITUAL EMPHASIS WEEK - Why I Pray at Work?
What role does prayer have with employees and medical staff who work at a faith-based health care institution? St. Helena Hospital’s annual Spiritual Emphasis Week explored this question with the theme, “Why I Pray at Work”. Four employees, two administrators and two medical staff shared personal experiences and practices of prayer. Their presentations were moving and authentic because the presenters spoke from their hearts and are well known to us. St Helena Hospital sponsors Spiritual Emphasis Week once a year for employees and medical staff.
